December to February also offer stable weather conditions with slightly lower rates and fewer crowds.

Gorilla permits in volcanoes while at One and Only cost USD 1,500 per person for international visitors, and the best way to secure one is by booking in advance. Lodge rates vary depending on budget, and high end luxury positioning, normally ranging from USD 2,200 to USD 3,500+ for 2 people per depending on the time visited and accommodation category.
