Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up & Drive to the hotel in Arusha
This day is specifically designated for you to arrive at the Arusha. Pick up at the airport and transfer safely to the nearby hotel in the Arusha city. Have a quick orientation as the tour expert takes you through the entire trip plan and providing you more tips to enjoy your dream wildlife safari in Northern tourist circuit of Tanzania. After the interactive session with our safari expert, you will spend the remaining time to organize yourself, dine, and have overnight.
Day 2: Arusha pick up & transfer to Tarangire, afternoon game drive
After the early morning breakfast, expect to meet safari driver guide that is allocated to you by Apex Africa. First, you will be reminded about your trip today and what is ahead of you. With the luggage already packed in the 4×4 safari car, expect to exit Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a 2850 Sq. km protected area. Getting to Tarangire starting from Arusha can take around 2 or 3 hours or less depending on the your driver’s speed. Arrive early to give yourself adequate time to clear with check in and also enjoy lunch at the lodge.
After having lunch, leave the accommodation for a rewarding game drive in Tarangire. The afternoon game drive through the Tarangire comes with astonishing sightings including huge herds of elephants, the giant baobab trees, impalas, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and buffaloes, etc. Once you have had the best of your game drive, drive back to the lodge to end the day with dinner and sharing your memories.
Day 3: Drive from Tarangire to Serengeti, afternoon game drive
Check out of your respective accommodation and today’s morning will include last game drive session in Tarangire as per African travel plan. After the game drive, expect to continue to the Serengeti National Park also the leading destination within the Northern tourist circuit. You may continue straight to the lodge and relax the entire evening or have an afternoon game drive session in case of early arrival.
Day 4: Full day tour in Serengeti, Northern Tanzania circuit
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and later, embark on a journey to witness the powerful wildebeest migration and ensure that your pack of lunch is available. Today is a special day that you must prepare your mind for action-packed wildlife experience. The sightings may vary and won’t be only wildebeests that you will spot. Other animals will also be encountered including gazelles, 1000s of zebras, giraffes, impalas, elephants, and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for relaxation and then overnight after dinner.
Day 5: Full day tour in Serengeti –Northern circuit of Tanzania
Have a hefty breakfast and leave the lodge for another game drive session to explore more of Serengeti’s wonders from wildebeests, big 5, to amazing bird species. Return for you to have lunch and after, you will have a shorter game drive session such that you can also visit the Maasai community.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro for more game drives
Get yourself a heavy breakfast at the comfort of your safari lodge. Later, leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro, with en route visits expected at the Olduvai Gorge museum. Spend great time at the museum and then continue to Ngorongoro to check in the lodge. Early arrival will come with an afternoon game drive and finally, get yourself dinner.
Day 7: Full day game drive experience in Ngorongoro
Set off for an exciting game drive session in Ngorongoro Crater/Conservation Area. The day will begin after having breakfast in your respective accommodation in Ngorongoro. Day 8: Departure from the Ngorongoro (Northern circuit) to Arusha
