Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport & Drive to Hotel
Once you have landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, expect to find our driver guide to transfer you to the hotel. It will be a short distance drive in a comfortable vehicle, and at the hotel, expect to have an orientation from our representative.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli for a game viewing experience
After a hearty breakfast, begin your journey to Amboseli National Reserve, Kenya’s popular destination with breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. With early arrival anticipated, you check into the accommodation and later embark on a rewarding game drive session in the afternoon.
Amboseli, 392 sq. km, hosts diverse animals that reside in the savannah and other habitats, with the majority often encountered during a game drive. The Amboseli game safari offers amazing sightings of wildlife such as leopards, cape buffaloes, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, blue wildebeest, jackals, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, caracals, and spotted hyenas.
Common birds of Amboseli include the Egyptian goose, African jacanas, great egrets, red-billed ducks, water thick-knee, flamingos, and saddle-billed storks. Other birds that you can find on a game drive tour in Amboseli include common ostriches, lilac-breasted rollers, Von der Decken’s hornbills, African marsh harriers, yellow-necked spurfowls, and white-bellied bustards.
Day 3: A full-day safari in Amboseli with a guide
After breakfast, leave the safari lodge for an extensive day game drive. Explore the golden savannahs of Amboseli with their hidden gems, including small & large mammals. Not to miss on the Amboseli safari are the elephants or giraffes, while they pause against the spectacular Kilimanjaro Mountain. Today’s game safari covers a picnic lunch, and you will only drive back late afternoon and relax at the lodge.
Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru –Best to find Black Rhinos
Start your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, a popular site where rhinos and flamingos are found. Your lunch will be enjoyed at the lodge, and next will be an afternoon game drive. The afternoon game drive can come with astonishing sightings of predators, herbivores, and other unique animals. Today’s sightings can involve spotting animals like the Rothschild giraffes, lions, leopards, black rhinos, buffaloes, elands, zebras, waterbucks, and many others.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara –Best for Migration Safaris
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, and today, you will be heading to the Maasai Mara Reserve. You will enjoy lunch on arrival at the game safari lodge in the Masai Mara. In the afternoon, expect to proceed with a game drive, and as you navigate through the savanna, marvel at the Masai Mara’s abundant animals, including elephants, cheetahs, & lions.
Day 6: Enjoy a full day of savanna wildlife experience
Meet the professional driver guide to take you on both morning & afternoon game drive sessions. Explore the savanna landscapes of the Masai Mara with anticipation to find the big 5, and in case it is around July/August/September/October, you will also get a chance to witness the Great migration. Given the nature of today’s excursion, your lunch will be in the bush, and you will retreat for only dinner & overnight.
Day 7: A Safari to the Aberdares
This day is dedicated to the transfer to Aberdare, which is popular Kenyan park for unique bongo antelopes. Arrive early and check into the lodge before you proceed with the afternoon game viewing session.
Day 8: Drive to Nairobi from Aberdare
Have a hefty breakfast and after, set off for your anticipated game drive via the Aberdare landscapes. The expected sightings on Aberdare game safaris range from the giant forest hogs, Big game, bongo antelopes, to diverse birds. Later, continue to Nairobi city and get dropped off at the hotel or airport where your flight back home is scheduled to set off from.
